Singapore, February 26, 2024 - Aethir, a leader in decentralized GPU cloud infrastructure, has announced its upcoming Node Sale. Starting March 20th, individuals and organizations worldwide will be able to participate in Aethir's decentralized cloud infrastructure network by running nodes and earning rewards for their contributions.

The Aethir Node Sale

Running a node on Aethir contributes to the decentralization of cloud compute and enables users to earn rewards for their participation. The Aethir node sale is the first step in decentralizing the Aethir network, starting with the ‘Checker Node’, the validators of the Aethir ecosystem which support the verification of the uptime, latency, quality of service, and computational power provided by other node participants in the future.

Nodes earn rewards for helping verify the data and service provision within the network, serving as checks and balances for the future mining throughput of AI-enabled processing chips and other computational power. $ATH is the native token for the Aethir network that can be earned by node providers and checkers for maintaining Aethir’s decentralized cloud infrastructure network.

The Node Sale, which starts on March 20, 2024, offers 100,000 nodes through a tiered pricing system, with nodes starting at $500 each. The sale will be conducted on the Arbitrum network via a public sale, powered by Impossible, the team behind the Xai node sale—with no cap on the number of nodes one can purchase.

Nodes are transferable one year post-sale, and rewards will be accrued and earned upon a vesting logic for each user. As a node operator in Aethir's ecosystem, participants stand to earn up to a total of 15% of the total supply of $ATH set aside for Checker Node Operators over the next four years.
