Lightning Labs Raises $70M to Bring Stablecoins to Bitcoin
Lightning Lab's Elizabeth Stark announced a Taproot-enabled protocol called Taproot Asset Representation Overlay (Taro) that has received $70 million in Series B funding to bring stablecoin capability to the Bitcoin network. “The Hash” panel discusses how this project can revitalize Bitcoin’s early function as a means for payments and the technological capabilities of the Taproot upgrade.
