How to Really Create an NFT Collection

Have you ever wondered what goes into designing and then launching a non-fungible token (NFT) collection? The process is as much about the art as it is the science. You need both a strong visual identity and faultless technology to create that unique mix of artistry, singularity and utility.
BitBTC.money is creating a series of Satoshi Nakamoto avatar NFTs that will live in the metaverse. These have been designed to pay tribute to important Bitcoin contributors. BitBTC.money commissioned Minhua Ouyang (Bonnybb.eth) to create the Satoshi NFT project. Bonnybb.eth started creating NFTs in July 2019 and was one of the earliest NFT creators in New York. Here are the properties that have gone into her range of rare NFTs that pay homage to crypto pioneers and tell the story of Bitcoin. Satoshi NFT includes seven properties:
Background
Bonnybb.eth designed three different background properties for Satoshi NFT. The first background property is the hash value that implies the story of Satoshi Nakamoto’s 1 million BTCs. According to analysis within Sergio Demian Lerner's article in 2013, Satoshi Nakamoto mined 1 million BTC after Bitcoin's initiation block. Bonnybb.eth and the founder SNJ(@SatoshiNJunior) of BitBTC.money also burned 1 trillion BitBTC (equivalent to Satoshi Nakamoto’s 1 million bitcoins) to memorialize the birth of Bitcoin. Bonnybb.eth has integrated the hash value of burning these BitBTCs into the background property of the Satoshi NFTs.
The second background property is the core code of Bitcoin. Bitcoin’s most attractive code is that it has a total volume of 21 million and its output is halved every four years. The few lines of code behind this determine the underlying logic of Bitcoin being digital gold. The mix of the above two elements is therefore both the story of Satoshi Nakamoto's Bitcoin, as well as the core codes of Bitcoin.

Style
In the NFT field, rare properties are preferred. Paying tribute to cryptopunks, Bonnybb.eth designed a rare punk style property for Satoshi NFT. Because SNJ is a big fan of the “Star Wars” movies, Bonnybb.eth designed a rare property of a lightsaber and a rare property of the helmet of the Mandalorian.

Complexion/Nationality
The mystery of Satoshi Nakamoto is that no one really knows who that person(s) is. Judging from the name he might be Japanese, but looking at his speech on the Satoshi Nakamoto forum, you would think he is from the United States. But his grammar is also mixed with many British English words, so he may also be British or Indian-British. There are also theorists who say he is Chinese. Therefore, Bonnybb.eth designed different “Satoshis” for different complexions and nationalities to imply that Satoshi could be from any country in the world.

Clothes
Satoshi Nakamoto was one of the earliest cryptopunks. Bitcoin was invented after Satoshi Nakamoto communicated with Nick Szabo, Wei Dai, Hal Finney and Adam Back through the Cypherpunk mailing list. Based on these histories of Bitcoin, Bonnybb.eth designed a hoodie that represents the typical mysterious and subtle characteristics of cryptopunks. The hoodie is very popular in the blockchain industry. For example, Changpeng Zhao, the founder of the Binance crypto exchange, was wearing a hoodie when he appeared on the cover of Forbes magazine.
A hoodie is also one of the most common items of clothing. It can be seen in the streets everywhere. This property implies that anyone can be Satoshi Nakamoto, as long as they believe in and contribute to Bitcoin.

Hairstyle
Inspiration for the hairstyle property has come from other real-life crypto pioneers. For example, the sideburns of Jihan Wu, the man behind Bitmain, the largest bitcoin (BTC) mining machine manufacturer; the afro-esque hairstyle of Sam Bankman-Fried, the CEO of FTX; the short haircut of Andreas Antonopoulos, one of the most famous Bitcoin promoters in the world.

Accessories
Almost all of the Satoshi NFTs have two common accessory properties - a Bitcoin badge and glasses. The Bitcoin badge represents Satoshi Nakamoto as the father of Bitcoin. The glasses symbolize Blockstream CEO Adam Back, one of the most active members of the Cypherpunk mailing list with over 700 posts. He is said to be the first person to communicate with Satoshi Nakamoto. Speaking of glasses, Bonnybb.eth also designed a property of laser eyes, which should be a unique symbol for all cryptocurrency believers. Also, to commemorate the world's joint fight against COVID-19, bonnybb.eth created the property of masks.

As can be seen from the design concept, Bonnybb.eth is dedicated to creating a rare luxury NFT collection of just 200 pieces in honor of Satoshi Nakamoto, who created Bitcoin for the blockchain revolution.
