Paolo Tasca

Dr. Paolo Tasca is a professor and economist. He founded several blockchain organizations including the University College London Centre for Blockchain Technologies (UCL), Quant Network and recently the DLT Science Foundation (DSF). He advises several companies, including Hedera Hashgraph, INATBA and is a member of the TC307 Technical Committee on blockchain at the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), among others. He has also consulted and worked with Fortune 500 companies and organizations including the United Nations, European Parliament, Federal Reserve, European Central Bank and central banks in Italy, Chile, Brazil, Colombia and Canada. He previously served as the lead economist on digital currencies and peer-to-peer financial systems at the German Central Bank (Deutsche Bundesbank).
