Sergey Gorbunov

Sergey Gorbunov is the co-founder and CEO of Axelar, a blockchain interoperability network. He received a PhD from MIT, and was a Microsoft PhD fellow. He is an assistant professor at University of Waterloo and was on the founding team of Algorand, where he designed the core platform and led the cryptography group.
