About A Hunters Dream
A Hunters Dream (CAW) is an ERC-20 token on Ethereum designed as a decentralised social media ecosystem. It leverages NFTs as identities, enables token-based social interactions, and prioritises censorship resistance. The project is community-driven, with a vision of freedom and decentralisation.
*A Hunters Dream (CAW)* is an ERC-20 token launched on the Ethereum blockchain, described as a fully decentralised experiment without central developers, official teams, or initial funding. It is presented as a "cryptographic treasure hunt" focused on creating a decentralised social media ecosystem. The project is built around a manifesto that emphasises community control and the absence of central authority.
The CAW manifesto highlights the importance of decentralisation as a core principle, aligning with the original intent of Bitcoin, with a focus on censorship resistance and providing tools for a self-governed online society.
*CAW* aims to establish a decentralised communication and social media network powered by on-chain smart contracts. Its primary use cases include:
1. *Username NFT minting*: - Users can "burn" CAW tokens to create unique username NFTs, which act as their identity in the network. - Shorter usernames cost more CAW to burn.
2. *Decentralised messaging and social interaction protocol*: - The protocol allows public (similar to tweets) or private messaging, with interactions costing CAW tokens. - All activities, including posting messages, liking, and retweeting, use CAW as the internal currency.
3. *NFT management*: - NFTs function as user identities, enabling access to accounts and activity. - Transactions and interactions are fully on-chain, with the manifesto suggesting the use of decentralised storage networks such as Arweave for data permanence.
4. *Censorship resistance*: - The protocol ensures that no content is blocked at the smart contract level, while frontends may implement moderation if required.
CAW also includes a reward system for stakers and content creators, encouraging activity within the network.
