About CorionX
CorionX (CORX) is a utility token developed by the Swiss-based Corion Foundation to promote the global use of stablecoins, CBDCs, and DeFi services. It offers staking rewards and service incentives, and has undergone a token migration to improve infrastructure compatibility.
CorionX (CORX) is a utility token created to promote the adoption of stablecoins, decentralised finance (DeFi), central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), and other blockchain-based digital assets. It was launched by the Corion Foundation, a Swiss organisation established in 2016 to support open access to stable, scalable financial tools globally.
CORX serves as a transactional and incentivisation token across the CorionX ecosystem and aims to become an enabler for stablecoin and digital asset use by retail users and service providers.
CORX is used within the CorionX platform for:
- Incentivising Stablecoin Adoption: Users are rewarded for engaging in stablecoin transactions and promoting stablecoin use cases.
- Staking Rewards: Holders can earn a passive return of 2.5% quarterly (approximately 10.38% APY) based on their average wallet balance, with no token lock-up required.
- Payments and Access: CORX can be used to pay for services, membership access, and bounties within the CorionX ecosystem.
- Utility Across Platforms: CORX is integrated into wallets and services that support stablecoins and is intended to serve as a reward and discount token across partner platforms.
