About Darwinia Commitment Token
Darwinia Commitment Token (KTON) is a key component of the Darwinia Network, a decentralized platform developed by Itering.io and co-founded by Alex Chein and Denny Wang in 2018. KTON is created as a reward for users who participate in Darwinia's staking system, where they lock their native tokens, RING, for a fixed period to enhance network security. Users receive KTON in return for locking RING for up to 36 months, with a penalty for early withdrawal. KTON can be used to gain staking power and engage in Proof of Stake (PoS) mining within the network. This system is designed to encourage long-term commitment and contribute to the stability and security of the Darwinia ecosystem, which is community-driven and focuses on continuous innovation in decentralized applications and cross-chain capabilities.
Darwinia Commitment Token (KTON) is an integral part of the Darwinia Network, a decentralized platform originally developed by Itering.io. Founded in 2018 by Alex Chein and Denny Wang, Darwinia has evolved from its initial focus on blockchain and cross-chain infrastructure to a community-driven brand. It emphasizes on powering decentralized applications with cross-chain capabilities, reflecting its commitment to innovation and community-driven development.
KTON was created by the co-founders of the Darwinia Network, Alex Chein and Denny Wang. Their previous experience in various blockchain projects contributed to the development of Darwinia as a decentralized network, aligning with the ethos of a community-run technology and service.
