Mythos

Mythos is a digital asset associated with the Mythos Foundation and the Mythos Blockchain Ecosystem DAO, collectively referred to as Mythos. This ecosystem is dedicated to simplifying, standardising, and democratising Web3 gaming. The primary focus of the foundation encompasses developing cross-chain infrastructure, supporting the evolution of NFTs and game economies, integrating gaming guilds, expanding traditional esports into Web3, and collaborating with gaming platforms for the development of next-generation games.

The MYTH token is an ERC-20 mainnet token. It functions as an interoperable utility token within the ecosystem, adding governance and value for game developers, publishers, and content creators. Mythical Games was the first to adopt MYTH as its native utility token on the Mythical Chain and uses it on its Mythical Marketplace. MYTH is used in various applications within the ecosystem, including governance, transactions in the Mythical Marketplace, and as the unit of account in the new Mythical Marketplace 2.0.

As of 2023, MYTH has been established as the native token for all proposed projects within the Mythos ecosystem, underscoring its importance as an ecosystem currency.
