"Ukraine: The War On-Chain" is a special CoinDesk TV production that features, and registers on a blockchain, eyewitness accounts of the war to show how they can be preserved for future criminal trials. Live from Consensus 2022 in Austin, Texas, host Ben Schiller sits down with Ukrainians Pavel Kravchenko, a tech entrepreneur; Alex Bornyakov, a Ukraine government official; Starling Lab Founding Director Jonathan Dotan; and Filecoin Foundation Chair Marta Belcher. Dotan explained the Starling framework for capturing, storing, and verifying images of war crimes so they can't be easily dismissed as "fake news." The group also discussed the huge, overall problem of disinformation and whether blockchain and Web 3 technologies can help to win the fight against it.
