MaidSafeCoin (EMAID) is an Ethereum-based ERC-20 token that enables early access to the Safe Network Tokens, the native cryptocurrency of the decentralised SAFE Network.
MaidSafeCoin (EMAID) is an ERC-20 token launched on the Ethereum blockchain. It acts as a proxy token for the Safe Network Token, the native currency of the SAFE (Secure Access For Everyone) Network. EMAID facilitates early participation in the SAFE Network by allowing holders to exchange EMAID for Safe Network Tokens once the network is operational. This proxy token mechanism was designed to leverage Ethereum’s ecosystem while supporting the SAFE Network’s development.
EMAID serves as a bridge for users and investors to participate in the SAFE Network. The token is used to:
- Secure early access to the network’s native Safe Network Tokens through a 1-for-1 exchange upon the SAFE Network’s launch.
- Support the SAFE Network's development by enabling funding and encouraging early adoption.
The Safe Network itself will allow users to store data, communicate securely, and access decentralised applications (dApps) within a privacy-focused ecosystem.
