Before he was pardoned by President Trump in December of 2020, Weldon Angelos was serving his 13th year of a 55-year prison sentence for selling less than $1,000 of cannabis. Today, his story is the inspiration behind a blockchain project and NFT sale to raise funds for cannabis reform and advocacy. Joining “Community Crypto” host Isaiah Jackson are University of California professor and artist John Jennings, creator of the Weldon Angeles portrait at the heart of the project, and Louis Hall, founder of Burn1 Coin, a blockchain company focused on the cannabis industry.
