Yiannis Giokas

Yiannis Giokas is the senior director for product innovation at Moody’s Analytics focusing on expanding
Moody’s product offering in new markets and segments, utilizing emerging technologies.

Yiannis has a long history in product development both in the corporate and startup world, with one exit
under his belt. He has built products in fintech, telecoms, cybersecurity, AI/ML and blockchain. Along
the way, he has developed a portfolio of patents in cybersecurity, fintech and blockchain that show his
commitment to marketable innovation and tech excellence.

Prior to Moody’s, he served as VP of Research and Development for PCCW Global, HKT's international
arm. He joined PCCW Global in 2014 as VP of Cybersecurity, following the acquisition of his startup
Crypteia Networks. He also served in several executive positions in system integration, consulting, and
banking sectors within the broader ICT domain.

Yiannis holds a BSc in Electronics Engineering from University of West Attica, an International MBA
degree from Athens University of Economics and Business, and a MSc in Business Analytics from NYU
Stern Business School.
