Epic Games Adds Gala's Web 3 Wild West-Themed Grit to Its Store
Grit will be the first Web 3 game available for players on Epic's store.
Gala Games’s Grit – a Wild West battle royal – is now available for gamers on the Epic Games Store, according to a statement Monday.
- “Easy access to Web 3 games is a turning point for those players who have not yet seen how digital ownership can enrich the gaming experience,” John Osvald, Gala’s president of games, said.
- The Epic Games Store has over 194 million users, according to the press release.
- Last year, Gala Games and crypto investment firm C2 Ventures formed a $100 million fund to invest in play-to-earn games, metaverse environments and other projects built using blockchain technology.
