Epic Games Adds Gala's Web 3 Wild West-Themed Grit to Its Store

Grit will be the first Web 3 game available for players on Epic's store.

Gala Games’s Grit – a Wild West battle royal – is now available for gamers on the Epic Games Store, according to a statement Monday.

“Easy access to Web 3 games is a turning point for those players who have not yet seen how digital ownership can enrich the gaming experience,” John Osvald, Gala’s president of games, said.
The Epic Games Store has over 194 million users, according to the press release.
Last year, Gala Games and crypto investment firm C2 Ventures formed a $100 million fund to invest in play-to-earn games, metaverse environments and other projects built using blockchain technology.
