Osaka Protocol (OSAK) is a community-focused, decentralised cryptocurrency inspired by Shiba Inu’s foundational principles. It emphasises shared ownership, decentralised governance, and cross-chain interoperability, empowering users to contribute to its development equally.

Osaka Protocol (OSAK) is a community-driven cryptocurrency that aims to revive the ideals of decentralisation and trustlessness as envisioned by Ryoshi, the founder of Shiba Inu. Launched on 23 April 2023, it operates as an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain, following the original contract structure and supply model of Shiba Inu. The protocol emphasises collective ownership and decentralised governance, where every token holder is responsible for the project's evolution proportional to their ownership share.

Osaka Protocol is designed to foster community collaboration and equitable distribution among token holders, steering clear of developer pre-minting or exclusive insider privileges. The token can be transferred across multiple blockchains using a cross-chain bridge built on LayerZero’s Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) standard. This facilitates interoperability with seven different blockchains, including Ethereum, Avalanche, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Polygon, Base, and Optimism.

OSAK tokens are intended to empower users by granting them direct influence over the protocol's evolution, fostering a decentralised ecosystem where collective responsibility is key. Additionally, its cross-chain functionality makes it a flexible asset for decentralised finance (DeFi) applications across multiple networks.
