Bad Idea AI (BAD) is a cryptocurrency project that integrates blockchain technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and decentralised autonomous organisations (DAOs). Launched on 5 May 2023, it operates as an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain and serves as a social experiment to explore the dynamics of AI-human collaboration within a decentralised framework. The project aims to test whether AI can work harmoniously with humans to guide society into a new era or if it will lead to a dystopian future.
The BAD token symbolises a last-ditch effort by humanity to secure its future in a world where AI threatens to become dominant. A notable aspect of the project is its first initiative, the Consortium of AI for Humanity’s Advancement (CONAIHA™), which seeks to ensure that AI technology aligns with human interests. This initiative underscores the project's commitment to contributing to the CONAIHA protocol, with an emphasis on decentralisation.
