La FINRA ha approvato la vendita delle azioni del trust Ethereum di Grayscale Investments a piccoli investitori.
Gli investitori individuali potranno presto investire in Grayscale Ethereum Trust, pubblicizzato come "il primo titolo quotato in borsa negli Stati Uniti che investe esclusivamente nel prezzo Ethereum e trae valore dal suo prezzo".

"Tutti i tipi di investitori potranno ottenere visibilità sull'andamento dei prezzi di Ethereum senza le difficoltà di acquisto, archiviazione e custodia Ethereum", ha scritto Marissa Arnold, portavoce di Grayscale, in un'e-mail a CoinDesk.

Il titolo verrà negoziato over the counter (OTC) con il simbolo ETHE. Gli investitori entry-level potranno possedere e negoziare uno strumento legato a Ethereum insieme alle loro azioni Apple e IBM. Il trust, creato a dicembre 2017, in precedenza era aperto solo agli investitori accreditati e richiedeva un investimento minimo di $ 25.000.
Grayscale non ha ancora stabilito esattamente quando il titolo sarà disponibile per la negoziazione (si stima che ciò richiederà circa due settimane), ma l'approvazione della FINRA è un passaggio importante nel processo.
