E con sorpresa di ONE, la comunità Bitcoin su Cripto Twitter ha risposto per le rime, mostrando poco o nessun rispetto per il dirigente 97enne. Alcuni hanno trattato l'attacco di Munger come la tipica mancanza di competenza tecnologica di una persona anziana o addirittura come uno sfogo del tipo "Togliti dal mio prato!".
Altri commenti di Cripto Twitter hanno contestato la visione di Munger secondo cui la principale Criptovaluta è un male per la civiltà, quando Berkshire Hathaway è un importante proprietario di Coca-Cola, Maker di bevande zuccherate, e ha posseduto azioni di tabacco nel corso degli anni. Altri ancora hanno trovato ironico che abbia criticato l'uso di bitcoin nel crimine, quando molti dei giganti finanziari in cui Berkshire ha investito sono stati multati dagli enti di regolamentazione.
