White House Calls for Crypto Mining Standards; ECB Hikes Interest Rate 75 Basis Points
The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy called for further research on the energy impact of crypto mining to set standards for the industry. The European Central Bank (ECB) raised interest rates by 0.75 percentage points Thursday, the biggest single hike since it began setting monetary policy in 1999.
