About Grass
Grass (GRASS) is a Solana-based decentralised platform enabling passive income for users who contribute unused bandwidth to gather web data, which is structured for AI model training. Developed by Wynd Labs, Grass uses its GRASS token for governance, staking, and transaction fees within its ecosystem, promoting secure and scalable data acquisition for AI.
Grass is a decentralised platform that enables users to monetise their unused internet bandwidth by contributing to a network that collects and structures public web data. This data is utilised to train artificial intelligence (AI) models, supporting the development of AI technologies. The platform operates through a user-friendly application, allowing individuals to share their idle internet resources and earn rewards in return.
GRASS is the native token of the Grass Network and serves multiple functions within the ecosystem:
- Transaction Facilitation: GRASS tokens are used to power web scraping transactions, purchase datasets, and utilise Low-Cost Routing (LCR) services within the network.
- Staking and Rewards: Users can stake GRASS tokens to routers, facilitating web traffic flow through the network and earning rewards for contributing to network security.
- Governance: GRASS token holders can participate in the development of the Grass Network by proposing and voting on network improvements, decisions on collaborations, and determining incentive mechanisms for stakeholders.
Grass was developed by Wynd Labs, and co-founded by Andrej Radonjic.
