Harambe

Harambe (HARAMBE) is a cryptocurrency token on the Ethereum blockchain designed to commemorate Harambe, a gorilla whose death in 2016 inspired widespread internet memes and cultural references. The token is part of a broader project that fractionalises ownership of Harambe-related NFTs, including five of the seven original Harambe photograph NFTs minted on Foundation by Jeff McCurry, a lifelong friend of Harambe. This project aims to provide individuals with the opportunity to own a piece of internet meme culture.
