Jón Egilsson

Jón was appointed as the Chairman of the Icelandic Central Bank following the banking crisis in 2013, with the primary objective of rebuilding the financial system. Since 2012, he's been involved in crypto policy-making and conducted extensive research in the field. Today, Jón is the co-founder and chairman of Monerium, the first company to issue fiat onchain.
