Archax comprará el bróker español King & Shaxson Capital Mercados para expandirse en Europa.

Archax, un exchange y custodio de Cripto regulado por el Reino Unido, acordó comprar el corredor español King & Shaxson Capital Mercados (KSCM) para expandirse en la Unión Europea como el bloque comercial Regulación de los Mercados de criptoactivos Las reglas (MiCA) entran en vigor.
El cierre del acuerdo está sujeto a la aprobación regulatoria en España, según informó la compañía con sede en Londres el jueves. No se reveló el valor de la transacción.

KSCM se fundó en Madrid en 2019 para prestar servicios a clientes institucionales paneuropeos. Tras la adquisición, se convertirá en una filial 100% propiedad de Archax. Esta adquisición permitirá a la empresa, registrada ante la Autoridad de Conducta Financiera (FCA), ampliar sus servicios actuales de corretaje, sistema multilateral de negociación (SMN) y custodia en Europa, incorporando además los derivados de Cripto a sus licencias.

Está previsto que MiCA se aplique a partir del 30 de diciembre, aunque las disposiciones sobre monedas estables entraron en vigor en junio.
"La estrategia de Archax siempre ha sido expandir su presencia regulatoria a nivel mundial, siendo la región de la UE de PRIME importancia para nosotros tras el Brexit", declaró Graham Rodford, director ejecutivo y cofundador de Archax, en un comunicado. "Esta adquisición amplía y mejora nuestro acceso a permisos dentro de la UE, basándose en los que ya tenemos con la FCA en el Reino Unido", añadió.

- Bybit Spot Market Share Slides in March: Spot trading volume on Bybit fell by 52.1% to $81.1bn in March, coinciding with decreased trading activity following the hack of the exchange's cold wallets in February. Bybit's spot market share dropped from 7.35% to 4.10%, its lowest since July 2023.
