Tracy Basinger joined Klaros as a senior advisor in September 2021 after serving as the head of bank supervision at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco from 2017 to 2021, leading a 350-person team that conducted prudential and consumer protection supervision across a portfolio of community, regional, foreign and large complex organizations. Over the course of her 30+ year career at the Fed, she held a range of roles throughout banking supervision, starting with commissioned examiner and formed the Fed’s first fintech team in 2015 and the FRS’s first climate risk team in 2020 to study the impact of both physical and transitional risks related to climate change.
