Zack Seward is bijdrager en editor-at-large bij CoinDesk. Tot juli 2022 was hij plaatsvervangend hoofdredacteur van CoinDesk. Voordat hij in november 2018 bij CoinDesk kwam, was hij hoofdredacteur van Technical.ly, een nieuwssite gericht op lokale techgemeenschappen aan de oostkust van de VS. Daarvoor werkte Seward als verslaggever voor zakelijke en technologische onderwerpen bij twee NPR-lidstations, WHYY in Philadelphia en WXXI in Rochester, New York. Seward komt oorspronkelijk uit San Francisco en studeerde aan de University of Chicago. Hij werkte bij PBS NewsHour in Washington, D.C., voordat hij de Graduate School of Journalism van Columbia University bezocht.
